Paralympic team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will travel this weekend to Brazil in Rio de Janeiro, where from 7 to 18 September will be held the Paralympics.
At the Paralympic Games will participate 4,350 athletes from 176 countries, and Bosnia and Herzegovina will be represented by 14 athletes, including 12 sitting volleyball defending gold brilliantly medalist in London from 2012, and shot putter Dzevad Pandzic and Dženita Klico.

President of the Paralympic Committee of BiH and captain BiH sitting volleyball team Sabahudin Delalic said that the team performed excellent preparation and that all players are hoping for a new medal for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
– We did good preparation. With us were our shot putters that were also well prepared. We know that the citizens of BiH and this time expect gold, which creates a certain pressure, but also gives us the motivation to achieve the best possible result. Our goal in these games is the final – said Delalic.

Dzevad Pandzic, who fulfilled the norm for the Paralympics in the competition in Varazdin this year, hopes for the final of the Paralympic Games. Pandzic will perform on September 16, between 15 and 18 hours.

Dženita Klico also hopes appearance in the final. She will perform on September 10 in the period between 15 and 18 hours.

The flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the opening of the Paralympic Games will carry Dženita Klico, and during the closing ceremony of the games Dzevad Pandzic.
